As I searched for a name for our church, I was looking for something powerful ~ something that describes what happens to us when we receive Christ as Savior ~ what happens at the instant humanity is joined with Divinity… and found no better word than FUSION.

Google defines Fusion as the force that powers the sun and the stars. It’s the reaction that combines or fuses two hydrogen atoms to become one helium atom.  In the process, this mass is converted into pure energy.

FUSION is the power that quickens the dead spirit of man into the very life of Christ… it is the reaction in which two beings combine together, or FUSE to form one new one, made in the likeness of Christ….

And in this way, all that are fused to Christ are fused together into one living organism called the CHURCH!
